The deliverable has a multiple content. It shows the results achieved by researchers of the economic team so far. Researchers have worked to assess the state of the art and theoretical implications of Chinese investments in Europe in the industries of green technology and renewable energies.
The main results are included in 3 papers.
• One paper on “THE INTEGRATION OF CHINESE AND EUROPEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY MARKETS: THE ROLE OF CHINESE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS” was presented at the China Goes Global Conference and won the “Emerald Best Paper Award”. It was submitted to the International Journal of Emerging Markets (forthcoming);
• One paper on “THE DETERMINANTS OF LOCATION CHOICE: CHINESE FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENTS IN THE EUROPEAN RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR” was submitted at Energy Policy journal (under review at the moment);
• One paper on “THE IMPACT OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND INSTITUTIONAL FACTORS ON CHINESE GREEN INVESTMENTS IN EUROPE: HOME AND HOST COUNTRY EFFECT” was presented at the international conference on “MNE from emerging markets” (Copenhagen, October 2014) and will be submitted to Journal of World Business.
In this Deliverable, we include all 3 papers, as well as slides of presentations at the above mentioned two international conferences.
