Academic Position Since 2001, Attilio Mucelli is Associate Professor of Management Accounting at the College of Economics “Giorgio Fuà” of the Polytechnic University of Marche (www.univpm.it) and Director of the MOFA “Master On line Finance Ancona” held by ISTAO Business School (www.istao.it). Moreover he is member of the Scientific board of the PhD program of “Business Administration” held by the Universities of the Marche Region.
He is now Visiting Professor at the Lutgert College of Business of the Florida Gulf Coast University, Ft. Myers (USA) and at the School of Economics and Business Administration of the Beijing Normal University, Beijing (P. R. China). He was Visiting Professor/Scholar at University of Heilbronn, Heilbronn (Germany), Rollins College, Winter Park (USA), Toulouse Business School, Toulouse (France).
Other information He graduates from University of Ancona, cum laude (1991) and, in the same University, he was Assistant Professor of Business Administration (1995-2001).
He was invited speakers in many national scientific conferences. He presented papers at several international conferences (among them: China Goes Global, Boston; MNE from Emerging Countries, Copenhagen; Eurasia, Athens; EIASM, Bruxelles, Sevilla, Goteborg, Ajaccio, …). He is Associate Editor and Reviewer for some Economic Journals (Thunderbird International Business Review, Practical Ideas in Economics and Finance, Journal of Small Business Management, EM – Journal of Applied Economics and Advances in Management).
He is also president of the Board of Auditors of Previp Pension Fund (Milan) and consultant of Previndai Pension Fund (Rome) and of some Italian industrial Companies.
Research focus He published several articles (25), book chapters (8) and books (9) edited by national and international publisher.
His actual main research interests are related to the areas of Management and cultural issues of firms internationalization strategies (with a special focus on investments by companies from Bric countries in the Western Markets), Management Accounting (MA in Russian Companies), Intellectual Capital (two case studies were published), Pension Fund Management (Economic and financial accounting and Analysis of operational processes and organizational change management).
